Welcome to Woogaroo Creek State School where we set students up to REACH new heights as conscious global citizens and life long learners.
I am Kendall Seccombe, the proud foundation principal of our new school.
At WCSS, we have our very own Acknowledgement of Country, co-constructed by our 2024 First Nations Students and Jennifer Kent, a local First Nations woman.
At Woogaroo Creek State School, we recognise the Creator of the land, waterways and sky, who gives us life, and we are grateful for the Good Spirit that dwells within this place. We acknowledge the First Nations and Traditional Custodians of these lands on which we REACH, while giving thanks to our Elders for their guidance and care. We appreciate being able to live and learn in this Murumba-bah (beautiful place).
Our new school opened to start the 2023 school year. Our build Stage 1 is fully complete with Stage 2 planned for the future.
Currently, we offer student enrolment to families who live in our school catchment and surrounding areas. Expressions of Interest for Student Enrolment can be filled out through the link on our 'Enrolments' page on this website.
We have worked closely with our local community to build our school's narrative and identity.
We look forward to continuing to build strong partnerships with our feeder high school, Redbank Plains State High School, and our local early learning providers. We work heavily in the transition space to ensure all students are set up for success in joining our new school, or moving onto high school at the end of their Woogaroo Creek State School journey.
Please follow our Facebook page and website to keep updated about our new school.
We look forward to working together to EMPOWER our students to reach new heights at Woogaroo Creek State School.
