Welcome to Woogaroo Creek State School on Purser Road, Augustine Heights where we set students up for success each day to ensure they can 'REACH' new heights.
As we are an enrolment managed school, our enrolment procedures are governed by our
School Enrolment Management Plan (PDF, 150KB). A school enrolment management plan is a legal document that ensures students can attend their closest school. It also ensures that the best use can be made of available resources.
At our school, we have an enrolment process which is outlined below.
Step 1
Check the school catchment map first to see if you are 'In Catchment' or 'Out of Catchment'.
Step 2 Expression of Interest (EOI)
Complete the online Student Enrolment Expression of Interest (EOI)
When completing an Student Enrolment Expression of Interest (EOI), you will be required to upload 2 proof of residency documents:
1 Primary source of residency
- rates notice
- current rental/ lease agreement
- unconditional contract of sale for house (and land if building)
and1 Secondary source of residency
- utility bill (i.e gas, land line telephone (not mobile), water or electricity)
These proof of residency must show the same address and the parent’s/ legal guardian’s name.
Note: If you are building a property in our catchment: A 'Statutory Declaration', stating your current address and that you are building within Woogaroo Creek State School’s catchment, with the intent of the house being your principal place of residence and proposed move in date, will need to be provided.
Step 3- Application for student enrolment form
Once your enrolment has been accepted, we will contact you to complete the 'WCSS Enrolment Application'. Once you have completed the 'WCSS Enrolment Application', email your application to enrolments@woogaroocreekss.eq.edu.au
Step 4—Set Up for Success Check In
Once all forms have been submitted, you will be contacted by our team to complete a ‘Set Up For Success Check In’ telephone call. During this telephone call, our team will finalise all necessary information that we will use to set your child up to REACH at Woogaroo Creek State School.
Step 5—Tour & Talk
Once the 'Set Up for Success Check In' has taken place and this process is complete, our team will invite you and your child to attend a Tour & Talk with our Leadership Team. Tour & Talks take place on Thursdays at 11.30am at the school Administration Office (A Block). This session will provide you with an overview of our school and key school processes.
At the end of the session, our School Uniform Shop is open. We are a full uniform school. Our uniform has been designed in consultation with our community. These are sold at an on-site uniform shop run by our uniform suppliers, Uniform Management Services (UMS).
If you are enrolling a child for the first time with Education Queensland, please bring along a copy of your child's birth certificate for our Administration team to sight. If you do not have a copy of their birth certificate, apply online through
birth certificate application and bring with you to your interview.
At the end of the enrolment session, a start date for your child will be confirmed. To ensure you have all necessary information to commence, you will be emailed a 'Meet the Teacher' prior to commencing. A 'Meet the Teacher' is an overview of your child's teacher, to welcome them to Woogaroo Creek State School.

If your address is not within our catchment, you are invited to submit an Expression of Interest for consideration of enrolment at Woogaroo Creek State School.
All Out of Catchment enrolment applications must be completed online, paper applications will not be accepted at administration.
Families are advised that there are limited numbers for out of catchment enrolments and the Principal's decision is final.
